it is cold and wintry outside and I am having visions of warm summer evenings sitting on the lawn with neighbors and kids playing. I can’t help but appreciate the beauty of a snow storm. We have pretty had snow storm one after another all winter. Tonight’s storm seems especially beautiful.
This is the view outside of my back door….we got about 4 inches out here in that many hours.
This is my front porch. See the little lawn chairs under the tree. My girls set them up Saturday and were all bundled up sitting on them like they do in the summer time. By the time the snow let up, they were almost buried!!!

My favorite tree in the front yard. I love to take pictures of the snow at night with the flash on, I like how it lights up all the snowflakes.
Well round one of the storm is over and I am waiting for round two. I am thinking a snow day would be fun with the kids…..but then again…..maybe not……
It is really pretty, COLD, but pretty. We are getting round two right now. We woke up to about 4 inches this morning.
