Alas….
Mother Nature
she is a tricky little bugger
this is my back yard at about 4:00 pm
(about the same time the buses in our area got grounded, I felt so bad for those poor kids stranded in their buses for hours and hours)
This is what it looked like out my back door around 9:00, that is when my poor PIC stumbled, half frozen (the heater in his car is broken) three hours past the time he usually gets home.
The issue wasn’t so much the amount of snow, it was more the wind. The drifts on Redwood Road were about 4 feet deep.
About this time we hear on the radio that Redwood road into Saratoga Springs is closed.
So basically, there is no way in or out of Eagle Mtn or Saratoga Springs.
We are offically “snowed in”
I am so thankful for the little food storage we have!
(later I learned that Redwood Road wasn’t really closed, however, it would have been crazy to try to drive on that road durring this storm)
Yuck! I am so ready for spring!! Lets all go to Arizona and visit Jes!
Wow, the pictures were awsome. I wondered if your kids were on any of those buses they talked about on the news! Thankfully not! We got snow but not wind. At least we know spring IS coming.
I am really glad they weren’t on those buses and as a bonus school didn’t start until 11…
It was a crazy storm. It was cruel of Mother Nature to give us a few days of warmth and then blast us with that. I can’t wait until spring is really here.
You guys really should come for a visit it was 78 here yesterday. Although today is a little cooler its still 67. We welcome visitors at anytime!! THose picturea are pretty amazing but I am glad thats all they are to me…pictures
Jes, I just might take you up on that offer…!
Crap! Next time something like that happens your hubby should just stay the night at our place!
Please do!!
Amazing! I can’t believe this weather. I hope summer is around the corner!
Ya, lets plan a trip to Sunny ARizona!!
