You must forgive me
I am passionately in love with my garden
passionately
Remember my little tiny lettuce sprouts?
well now they are a soft carpet of green
I used floating row covers and covered my boxes
it helps trap the heat
and keeps the stinking cats out
I took the covers off today to have a peek, and lookee!
my other lettuce has started to sprout,
this is a red-oak leaf lettuce
And this little number is a cabbage
I have 3 others coming up too
despite the cat!
Peas!!!! YEEEHAW!
Ain’t they purdy!
This is a chicken
isn’t it the weirdest chicken you have every seen?
Don’t ask me why I have a picture of a chicken
I won’t answer.
Another little odd and end
I made Pico de gallo
I have never made this before
I thought it looked really pretty
I did find out tonight that my PIC doesn’t like Pico de gallo….
hmm
Who knew!
Jealous.
Looks like you did a great job on the pico de gallo! And if someone doesn’t like it, then that’s more for you! And it’s fat free! I’ll be waiting for an invite for salad in the future!
The soup we had the Pico de gallo with was GREAT. And the chips were not that bad either. I am just not a big fan of celentro (sp?).
Did I see a picture of a Chicken???
Your little garden looks like it is coming right along! Are you adding chickens to your rabbit farm? Fresh eggs are the greatest! The Pico looks so fresh and delicious!
Wow! Last year I planted a garden, but we were a little late and it didn’t turn out that well. So I can plant it now and just cover it…I need tips! What could I plant this week??? Please Help!
Chickens? If you are raising chickens I will be so jealous…I would love to be able to do that and have fresh eggs. Congrats on your garden .
Lacey, right now you can only plant spring veggie..peas, cabbage, lettuce…other things you need to wait until after mothers day
Congratulations on your garden. It lookds great. I haven’t planted anything yet. I’m still pretty wary of these random snow storms we are getting.
If you get a chance could you post some updated pictures of your veggies. I love to see what is growing in other poeples gardens.
