Thanksgiving weekend was wonderful! We spend a lot of time with my family and I enjoyed every minute of it. My parents and sibling live about an hour away, so we don’t get to spend as much time with them as I would like, but this weekend we indulged in some family time.
Today when I woke up the house was a mess, fortunately I had nothing that really had to be done, so I dug in and by the afternoon the house was in order, I had several loads of laundry on the line and I could indulge in the beauty and calm of the afternoon.
The very last of my green tomatoes are ripe and ready to be made into spaghetti sauce.
My newest crochet project, I bought a book, and look…a fancy stitch!
Sounds great. I miss my colorful eggs. We are thinking about trying again, but not sure yet.
*hugs*
that is some gorgeous crochet work, i have a lot of books, but i read the instructions and tend to end up scratching my head in wonderment…i do much better with knitting oddly enough..i think if i found videos of people teaching crochet stitches, it’d be easier for me…
Oh, the life! Eggs and tomatoes look great! Your crocheting is beautiful! Such energy!
I really need you to stop posting pictures of your eggs, since I’m having such trouble with coveting your chickens, thank you very much!
Because of you I have finished one scarf, started a hat, bought yarn for two more scarfs and had to call my mom to work on some boys’ hats so they can be finished by Christmas, too. I forgot how much I enjoy crocheting in the wintertime.
I wish my house looked that peaceful 🙂
