My Punk Baby Brother

Last Wednesday my family got wonderful news.

My littlest brother was called on a Mission for our Church

The post office called him early Wednesday morning (about 6:45) to let him know there was a letter from church headquarters for him. The post office in the little city he lives in does this, so the new missionary can come and pick the letter up, and doesn’t have to wait for the mail to be delivered.

My little brother was kind enough to wait until later that night when the whole family could gather for the opening of the letter. We were so excited!

He is going to the Lansing Michigan Mission
(basically all of Michigan except the Detroit area)

YAY!!!!!

I am so proud of my brother, he has grown into such a wonderful man.

He leaves February 18th

(or is it the 19th…gasp, how embarrassing!)
only a few days after his 19th birthday.

Good luck Chaddy

we love you!

The only down side…

I am going to miss him!

(p.s. if any of you live in Michigan and you see some punk Mormon missionary, that could be my brother! honk and wave!)

  7. Congratulations! My sister lives in the Lansing, MI mission. (Last name Hammer-they live in Mt. Pleasant) We have a cousin on my husband’s side who is there right now, Elder Remington.

  8. I live in michigan, about an hour and a half south of Lansing..it’s a nice state, if you don’t count all the unemployed people…very pretty, lots of snow that time of year (and right now in fact)…tell him to bring WARM clothes, he’ll need them well in to May..
