When I was little we called all little hair bobbers
“Pretties”
For Valentines Day my oldest girls and I made pretties for our hair.

Do you remember in the ’80’s (oh, dated myself) when these little guys were popular.

I had a pair of blue ones, with beads and feathers on the end.
(yuck!)

However, I think these turned out really cute!

How did you start the ribbons on that barette?
I remember those 🙂 I had a several my Aunt or grandmother made for me. It was probably my aunt.
I remember in Middle school the cheerleaders did them in our school colors and wore them on pep rally or game days.
The memories of the 80's! good thing I don't remember the 70s… all that well at least. :0)

Oh I love them! We never had anything like that. I think the closest I can think of is lanyards that looked similar.
My sweet little daughter just informed me that she has to have some of these!!! Oh what fun!!!
