One of the things I have found that I really enjoy is crocheting baby blankets for my new nieces and nephews. In June Dadzoo’s sister had a baby, her fourth, and I had been working on this little number for her. I wasn’t quite finished when baby Spencer came, and the birth of Lydia delayed the delivery of the blanket, so she didn’t get it until he was about 6 weeks old. I didn’t want to post pictures until I was sure she had gotten it, considering she reads this blog from time to time.
This blanket had to be one of my favorites. I was fun to learn new stitches and figure out how to do a zig zag pattern.
Hope she likes it!
I LOVE THIS BLANKET. We use it everyday. I am so grateful for this gift and for the hands that made it. Thanks. I know that this beautiful blanket, was made with love and a whole lot of time went into making it. We love you Momzoo!!!
I have found a picture of a blanket on pintrest similar to this one…but I want to know the name of the stitch do you by chance know the name?
It is a triple crochet and single crochet alternating. I don’t have the pattern anymore, so I can’t tell you the exact counting of the stiches to make the ripple.
