We have sprouts!!!
Little itty bitty, teeny tiny lettuce sprouts!

In about 3 weeks I will be harvesting my first tender little leaves

aren’t they so cute when they are this tiny!
Now, this means that I will need to go plant my next section of lettuce, that way when this group has been harvested and goes to seed (which will make the plants bitter) I will have a new fresh crop ready for my dinner table!
Oh I can’t wait for mine to come up! You’ve got to be so excited!
just reading that and looking at the pictures is making me hungry for a yummy FRESH salad!!
are you sure you don’t have to worry about ecoli…with the cats? Just wondering! I will be jealous of your first harvest?
oh yuck, I didn’t think about that one! I guess I will be using veggie wash with this first batch at least!
