sigh…
I do have a HUGE mess outside
I really do enjoy working in MY
flower beds
and gardens.
today was just TOO perfect.
I put the little kids to bed, and while the older punks were at school I got busy,
turning on the radio and pouring a big mug of Diet Coke
I really am a little embarrassed because it is such a MESS, but after a couple of hours it is all cleaned up, and ready for the new plants to come up and for some new plants to be, well, planted!
I LOVE the feeling of a job well done
the feeling of HARD WORK
the little bit of sunburn on my arms.
IT was a glorious afternoon!
strawberry patch.
Each of the kids has a special vegetable (or fruit) that they picked out, and they are going to be in charge of planting, caring and harvesting their crops.
I am hoping for a good amount of strawberries this year,
and next year I would like to have enough to make
strawberry jam with my OWN,
home grown fruit!
(keep your fingers crossed for me)
There is something about gardens, plants
and flowers that just
fill my soul.
Oh, your yard ALWAYS looks great, you guys really are the rose among the thorns in your neighborhood! No really your yard always looks great! Good luck with the Strawberries!
Thanks, I do work really hard to make it pretty
There is one of the Saturday to do items done. Thanks Chicky Chicky Bo Bo.
If I could have my way, I’d always work outside and never touch the inside. I LOVE working in the yards and gardens! I love your hens and chicks. They are some of my favorite plants and you can’t kill them!
Yes everybody, my husband is a Dork, he called me Chicky, Chicky, Boo Boo…nice…..!
It is a little saying that my 5 year old came up with a few days ago and now everybody is calling each other chicky chicky boo boo..
I didn’t think it would end up on my blog where I am trying to maintain some sort of dignity!
I am very impressed it looks very good and like you had a ton of fun out in the sun, I love spring!
