Every Christmas I make pyjamas for my kids
(well almost every Christmas)
I like the look of homemade nightgowns
you can make them as pretty and old fashioned as you want and they are still cute!
My niece is a girly-girl, I have twice made her “dresses” and she loves them, so this year my sister asked if I would make her two daughters nightgowns to give them on Christmas Eve.
I made them this weekend, that way I could give them to my sister when I saw her over Thanksgiving, I don’t know for sure when I will see her before Christmas.
It will be nice to have them done, I have many hours of crafting before Christmas comes.
Including four more nightgowns for my own daughters
The are going to be just the same that way the girl cousins will all have matching nightgowns at Grandma’s house Christmas night.
Those are so pretty…. good job by you 🙂
very pretty. It’s nice that you can find the time!!
Those are SO cute. What lucky little nieces you have. I have lots of projects to get done before Christmas too. I’m starting to get worried that they won’t all happen.
Good luck with yours.
*hugs*
So CUTE! I made jammies and nighties for my kids for years too. I’m doing a lot of crafting and sewing this year too but I can’t post about it because my kids read my blog! So I guess I’ll have to wait. I love creating for Christmas.
I make PJ’s every year too. Only mine aren’t near that cute. More like two piece jammie bottoms with only two seams.
I have never seen pajamas spelled that way and have seen it twice today so I googled to see if I’ve been wrong all along. Looks like both spellings are correct.
You do gorgeous work, Aimee! I’m sure the girls will treasure those for many years!!
Boy, I covet your energy and focus!
Excellent! You have a great sewing skill. So nice for your girls and nieces! I like to do that, too. But my teens don’t like the gowns anymore, they like pj bottoms now. I miss sewing those cute nighties.
I’ll bet the girls will be full of giggles when they see they all match!
Oh I am dying over these.
I just added you to my google reader. I hope that is ok.
