Today, the 24th of May, we woke up to this!
It is still snowing, if fact since I took these pictures and posted them the storm has picked up and there is a lot more snow on the ground. Bleck!
As of now the only plants I have lost are the Basil, and I am keeping my fingers crossed that the tomatoes will survive.
Yes, it's unbelievable! I think we have lost half of our grapes…*sigh*
Oh no! That's just awful 🙁
I'm sure it's being blamed on global warming…looks more like global cooling, huh?
Glad to see you back Aimee…hope your beautiful garden fares well.
Blessings,
Kimberlynn
Same here…but I noticed the temperature diving last night. I got them covered up.
Oh Aimee! I hope your plantings will survive. How strange to have snow in May!
Oh no! I wonder if we in the PNW sent it on to you–we had snow in the mountains; hail in some lower elevations:(
Sorry about your basil; hope the tomatoes are OK. The only one I had planted survived and is thriving (it's a Glacier–can withstand colder weather).
Blessings,
Aimee
Aimee! I received so many texts/calls about this storm, and I couldn't help but think of all of your hard work! I hope and pray that all of your goods survived!
